Education Requirements
- Most people are required to have at least a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or food management from an accredited university in order to become a nutritionist.
- To be a certified clinical nutritionist (CCN) you must also take post-graduate course in biochemistry and clinical nutrition.
- To earn the title a certified nutrition specialist (CNS) you must earn a MASTER’S or DOCTORATE degree in nutrition from an accredited university as well as pass the exam given by the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists (CBNS).
